This message indicates that at least one of the following issues is being encountered:
In
both of these cases a different set of steps are required to resolve
the issue. Below are details for each instance. Please read each and if
need be, contact the support team for a further explanation and
assistance as necessary.
This
situation means you are attempting to assign subjects that have no more available seats according to the system. This usually happens when a user with that subject assigned has been
deleted or had the subject de-assigned and you are now attempting to
assign that subject to a new user. When deleting a user, or de-assigning subjects from users, the system does not automatically restore that license for the subject(s) in question.
The system only deducts licenses from the available balance during assignment and does not credit the number of licenses at any time. Support must be
contacted to determine license re-usability. Once support determines
eligibility of reuse, they will verify and help determine if additional
licenses must be purchased through the billing/accounting team.
This
situation occurs when you are attempting to assign a retired version of
a subject to one or more users. Any subject with the term SUPERCEDED at the end, indicates
the subject can no longer be assigned to or
accessed by any user. The subject(s) in the error should be noted, then
the updated version assigned to the user(s)
in question. Further steps relating to the superceded subjects process
and how to have CTS remove them from the account can be found here.
Additionally, for a full listing of currently superceded subjects and any subjects in the process of being superceded, click here.
When this occurs the
administrator will need to assign the appropriate replacement subject(s)
regarding the superceded subject(s), as well as contact support to
determine seat availability and potential seat re-usability for the remaining subjects.
