I receive a square loading animation, or a blank white page while in a tutorial (iPad version)
When attempting to access a tutorial on the iPad, you may encounter a loading screen that appears like the image below. When this happens, it means the page is being loaded as it would on a computer. The desktop version of the tutorials will not load on the iPad.
Tutorial Loading Animation Due to the recent changes in iOS 13 for iPad, Safari by default loads the desktop version of the training page. There are a couple of options to enable the mobile version of the page that will allow the tutorials to load. Please follow the steps below to load the mobile version of the page.
Option one:
This will need to be run anytime the website is opened after having been closed
- While on the training page for CTS, tap on the "AA" icon in the left-most portion of the address bar
- A context menu will appear and show several options
- Tap on the "Request Mobile Website" option
- The page will now reload, showing the mobile version; you will need to re-open the subject and tutorial to view and complete the material
Option Two:
This option will be a persistent option and should only need to be enabled once, or until the browser options are reset
- While on the training page for CTS, tap on the "AA" icon in the left-most portion of the address bar
- A context menu will appear and show several options
- Tap on the option for Website Settings
- On the new context menu that appears, tap the "Request Desktop Website" toggle if it is enabled (as shown below) to disable it
- The page will refresh in the background, tap on Done to close the context menu
- Now the subject and tutorial can be re-accessed and the content will prompt to play as expected
If the issue persists further please contact support for assistance.
