The following steps will outline how to clear your browsers cache, cookies, and history. This will cover our supported browsers only. Other browsers are not officially supported, therefor we do not have specific information to assist with them.
Google Chrome
- On your computer, open Google Chrome.
- At the top right corner of your browser window, click the three vertical dots, then select Settings.
- Click Privacy and security > Site Settings > Delete browsing data.
- On the Delete browsing data window, check-mark all three choices and select a time frame (Last hour, Last 24 hours, Last 7 days etc.)
- Click the Delete data button
Now that you have cleared the browser’s cookie and cache files, you must close the browser. All windows, tabs and sessions must be closed in order to implement the changes. Re-open your browser and proceed to access your training.
Mozilla Firefox
- On your computer, open Mozilla Firefox
- At the top right corner of your browser window, click the three vertical lines, then select Settings.
- Click on Privacy & Security.
- Under Cookies and Site Data, Click on the Clear Data button.
- On the Clear Data Window, Make sure Cookies and site data & Temporary cached files and pages is checked.
- Click clear
Now that you have cleared the browser’s cookie and cache files, you must close the browser. All windows, tabs and sessions must be closed in order to implement the changes. Re-open your browser and proceed to access your training.
Microsoft Edge
- On your computer, open Microsoft Edge
- At the top right corner of your browser window, click the three horizontal dots, then select Settings.
- Under Settings, Click on Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Privacy, search, and services, click on the Clear browsing data button.
- A Delete browsing data window will pop up and give you time range options (Last hour, 24 hours, 7 days, etc.)
- Check-mark Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files and click Clear now
Now that you have cleared the browser’s cookie and cache files, you must close the browser. All windows, tabs and sessions must be closed in order to implement the changes. Re-open your browser and proceed to access your training.
Safari for Mac (Not supported on PC)
- Open Safari on your Mac
- At the top left of the browser, Click on Safari and select Settings
- In the Settings menu, Click on the Privacy tab, then click on Manage Website Data
- Click Remove All button to clear all cache for all websites, or select from list of websites displayed and click Remove
- Close the settings window when you are finished
Now that you have cleared the browser’s cookie and cache files, you must close the browser. All windows, tabs and sessions must be closed for this to work. If you are in doubt that all sessions are closed, it is recommended to simply restart your Mac.
